DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN YOGA MAT?

You may bring your own mat if you choose, but we have non-slip mats available at no charge. We do ask that you clean any mats/props you borrow and put them away before leaving the studio.

WHAT PROPS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE?

We have blocks, blankets, straps, and sandbags (coming soon!) available for use. We do ask that you clean and/or put away any props that you borrow before leaving the studio.  We also offer hand towels upon request.

DO YOU OFFER WATER AT THE STUDIO?

Yes, we offer filtered tap water.

ARE CELL PHONES ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO?

We ask that students leave their phones and other devices in the cubbies for the duration of class. We understand extenuating circumstances, however if you must text or answer a phone call during class time, please step into the hallway to do so.

DO YOU OFFER HOT YOGA?

Our studio is kept warm year-round (75-80 degrees F). We do not currently offer hot yoga.

DO YOU OFFER BEGINNER CLASSES?

Our classes are all open-level. The teachers will offer modifications for all levels of experience. You may also let the teacher know that you are new at the start of class so they can offer more specific direction. If you want to learn more about the specific alignment of the postures, try taking Ritual Align, which breaks the poses down more succinctly.

DO YOU HAVE CHANGING ROOMS OR SHOWERS?

We do have a changing room, but no, we do not have a shower.

DO I NEED TO SIGN UP FOR CLASS IN ADVANCE?

We recommend that you sign up before class to reserve your spot, and so that the teacher knows how many students to expect. But signing up in advance is not required, walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space.

HOW DO I BOOK CLASSES?

You may book classes online via our website, on the phone or in person. Your booking is not complete until you have received a booking confirmation via email from us.

HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL A CLASS?

You may cancel or change your reservation for a regular class (not a workshop or event) for a class up to 2 hours before the start of the class. In the case of a cancellation, the class credit will go back into your account.

ARE CLASSES TRANSFERRABLE?

No, classes are not transferrable to other people. Only the person whose name is associated with the class pack or membership will be able to pay using those assets.

ARE WORKSHOPS INCLUDED IN UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS?

Accepted Answer

No, workshops and series are not included in unlimited memberships, but you will receive a discount depending on the type of membership you have.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO A CLASS I'VE SIGNED UP FOR?

If you’re using a drop-in or class pack and you cancel within the 2-hour window or do not show up for class, you will be charged for the class. If you are an unlimited member and cancel within the 2-hour window or do not show up for class, a $10 late cancellation/no show fee will be applied to your account.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO A WORKSHOP I'VE SIGNED UP FOR?

Our workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to the start time of the workshop, a credit for the price of the workshop will go back into your account to use another time. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will forfeit the price of the workshop.

Question 15

CAN I COME TO CLASS LATE, OR LEAVE EARLY?

For safety reasons, students more than five minutes late to a scheduled class will not be admitted. If you need to leave class early, please let the teacher know ahead of time and do not leave during savasana.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATES?

Yes, we offer private and duet sessions. Please inquire in person, by phone or email at info@ritual-yoga.com and we'll find a teacher who is the right fit for you!
